IBVF researchers participate in the Closing Event and presentation of results of the Complementary R&D&I Plan in Marine Sciences in Andalusia

The Complementary R&D&I Plan in Marine Sciences in Andalusia (ThinkInAzul Andalusia) held its closing event on February 6, featuring a session presenting the results and milestones achieved by the 49 research projects that make up the Complementary Plan in the region, organized around three main lines of action:

1. “Observation and Monitoring of the Marine and Coastal Environment”.
2. “Sustainable, Smart, and Precision Aquaculture”.
3. “Blue Economy: Innovation and Opportunities”.

Researchers from IBVF belonging to the research group Stress Response and Synthetic Biology of Photosynthetic Microorganisms participated in this event. During the session, Dr. José A. Navarro presented the results obtained in Project PCM_00004, focused on improving microalgae productivity in response to climate change for its use in aquaculture.
