About the Equality Committee

The CSIC Equality Delegate Committee was established in 2011 to promote the application of the principle of equal opportunities for all CSIC staff. This objective has been implemented through the development, evaluation, and improvement of the CSIC Equality Plan, whose third edition has been in force since 2022. Since 2019, the creation of Equality Committees within the Research Institutes (ICUs) has been encouraged to support the implementation of this Equality Plan.

As the Equality Committee of the IBVF, our objectives are:

1. To disseminate and promote CSIC’s Equality policies.
2. To assess the state of equality within the IBVF and promote measures that foster equality in organizational and functional structures.
3.  To serve as a point of contact and provide advice on equality-related issues to all IBVF staff.
