Researcher Alba Gutiérrez Diánez wins the Award for Best Poster at the 5th International Congress of Young Marine Researchers

Alba María Gutiérrez Diánez, a member of research group “Stress response and synthetic biology of photosynthetic microorganisms”, has received the Award for Best Poster presented at the 5th International Congress of Young Marine Researchers, held on November 5–7th 2025, at the University of Huelva, within the framework of the International Campus of Excellence of the Sea (CEI-MAR) and under the CEI-MAR thematic line Knowledge of the Sea.

The distinction for her poster, entitled Improving microalgae productivity by generating strains with increased resistance to temperature and light stress conditions, acknowledges the scientific excellence, graphic clarity, and technical precision demonstrated in the poster, and reflects the scientific rigor, innovation, and communication skills that characterize outstanding researchers in the field of marine sciences.
