Research Interests
My research focuses on understanding the physicochemical principles governing the formation of protein condensates through liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) and their application in the design of functional synthetic organelles. I use fluorescence and confocal microscopy, as well as molecular biology and biochemical tools, to study how membrane-less compartmentalization can modulate metabolic pathways and cellular processes. I am interested in synthetic biology, protein engineering, and the development of biotechnological systems.
