Research Interests
I have participated in several national research projects on molecular biology and biochemistry of ionic transport in vegetables (tomato, rice, arabidopsis) and yeasts, in the study of the regulation of SOS1, essential for salt stress tolerance in Arabidopsis, and in the characterization of NHX-type proteins and their regulation by cytosolic pH and calcium through calmodulin-like proteins (CMLs). I have also worked in an international research project in collaboration with the University of Taiwan for the study of the color pattern of the orchid of the genus Oncidium.
