Research Interests

My scientific career is framed in the field of Plant Molecular Biology specially in the light regulation of plant development. My research line is focused on knowing the role of light quality and quantity throughout the life cycle of plants, as well as the molecular mechanisms implicated and the physiological effects.  To perform this research line, I use the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana and crops with agricultural and ornamental interests such as Petunia and tomato.
