Research Interests
My research has focused on the study of chloroplast redox regulation. During my PhD, I was awarded an FPI Fellowship to work with the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana to characterize mutants that are deficient in key proteins involved in redox regulation and to perform molecular biology, biochemical, and genetic approaches. During my postdoctoral studies, I was awarded an MSCA IF-Global Fellowship to work with the microalga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii to study its diurnal cycle, using omics approaches such as transcriptomics, global proteomics and redox, as well as to perform physiological characterization of the diurnal cycle at different light intensities. In 2022, I joined the IBVF to study the redox proteome of Arabidopsis in response to light and during chloroplast biogenesis.
