Formation
Biochemistry Degree (Universities of Sevilla and Málaga, 2015)
Master in Biomedic Research (University of Sevilla, 2016) and Sanitary Biotechnology (Pablo de Olavide University, 2020)
Investigator (University of Sevilla, 2017-2018)
PhD Student (CSIC, 2022-now)
Research Interests
My previous research centered around the genetic study underlying several cellular processes in diverse model organisms. Currently I am working on my PhD thesis about the regulation of TOR signalling and autophagy in extremophile microalgae using Chlamydomonas urium, an extremophile microalga isolated from TInto River (Nerva Huelva), as working model while comparing it to Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, the model organism.
